ForgeFlash: My First Project

By @commissions.openDecember 11, 2024

ForgeFlash was the first project I ever created back in December 2023. I wanted to build a simple, fun website that allowed people to play games right in their browser, without needing to download anything. At that point, my web development skills were still pretty basic, but it was a great learning experience.

What Is ForgeFlash?

ForgeFlash is an experimental website I built using just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The goal was simple: provide a platform where users could play various games directly on the site, no downloads required. I kept the design minimal and user-friendly, focusing on providing a straightforward and seamless experience.

Key Features of ForgeFlash

  • A simple HTML layout without complex frameworks
  • Games that could be played directly in the browser
  • A clean and minimal interface
  • No downloads or installations required

The Development Process

Building ForgeFlash was a hands-on learning process for me. Since I was still new to web development, I relied on basic HTML and CSS to structure and style the site. The games were simple browser-based ones, and my main focus was on creating a functional and easy-to-navigate website.

Technologies Used

  • HTML for the basic structure
  • CSS for styling and layout
  • JavaScript for handling game interactions

Even though ForgeFlash was a simple project, it gave me a solid understanding of core web development principles. It helped me learn more about HTML structure, styling, and how to use JavaScript for basic interactivity. The site was simple, but it laid the foundation for many future projects.
